2010 Washington, D.C. Trip

In March 2010, three of the four NOYF National Winners traveled to Washington, D.C., for National Ag Day. While in D.C., the group met with Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack as well as touring the city and visiting other government officials. Steve and Teresa Moore (OH 2009), Bruce and Helle Ruddenklau (OR 2009), and Brent and Luann Johnson (IA 2009) were able to attend the event, while Willy and Holly Sytsema (NJ 2009) were unable to attend due to an unexpected cancellation of hired help.

Click HERE to find out about the opportunities the 2009 winners had to represent the OFA and promote agriculture.
